When we get older we tend to lose some of our need te see behind the picture, the reality. As a child it is much easier to be somewhere and transform the environment into something new without even changing one thing. The nostalgic feeling stays but where do you find it? In Upsammy’s music is amazement with new sounds to be found; one can just get into it without even noticing. The video for ‘Between the Stone‘ emulates this; it shows this abandoned garden, which still has some life to acknowledge. The change in the garden is not too obvious but it feels like you are wondering off and exploring details without noticing.
